The author behind the world
VISION:
The Covid pandemic has brought so many things around in our lives including re-examining our priorities, life experiences, and belief in our futures. Our very basic human instinct alone searches for and desires the fundamentals of life that complete us and make us whole; being part of society, finding love and acceptance, and discovering our value and worth within that scope is what makes us who and what we are, unique in a vast universe of time and space.
And so, I had an idea for a book, an adult fiction love story line that grew in scope, history, and a sense of déjà vu that we all experience at some point in our lives. The thought behind the series was one that may be an explanation of the human experience and how it translates across the many complex yet realistic spectrums of our lives and belief systems. True introspection brings home that there is a much bigger world out there and that our lives are only one miniscule part of the complexities; we are like a grain of sand amongst miles of shoreline, a matrix of very different yet very similar qualities that completes the entire picture.
In the end, we find that it is not the end but rather only the beginning of a new journey along a path of learned experiences until we get it right.
PASSION:
As an avid reader all my life, I have found that there are common threads in all of us - whether we want to admit it or not. In writing this adult fiction love story series, I found that emotions and actions were universal, something that could be expressed in and experienced by the characters, relatable moments familiar to each and every one of us. Having a background in psychology, I wanted to express some of our most precious and unique qualities not as some research study result, but as what it means to be...human.
